I poured some concrete and took this rifle as partial payment. I shot it this morning to see if it is sighted in and be sure it functions properly. I used factory Hornady ammo because that’s what I had. I’m including the first 3 shots out of the rifle. After these shots I shot it 3 more times to zero it. It should be ready to go hunting. It shot about an inch to inch and a half with the first and only ammo we tried. Really nice wood, really nice bluing, feeds and extracts with no issues.
It is a Nikko Golden Eagle model 7000 in 270 Winchester. It has a Leupold 4-12 scope with adjustable objective, model number Varx 2c. The stock is really nice figuring and really classic lines. The wood has a few dings from what I think are safe dings. The scope is super clear and as you know comes with lifetime warranty through Leupold.
On a small side note I will say I have been really impressed with Leupold, Burris and Vortex standing behind their scopes. It gives me confidence in buying their products new or used.
